As part of the central accounting team, this role will support various activities across the finance team

Key Responsibilities: 

Working in the finance team, this role will give experience of a wide range of accounting processes across multiple teams:

Principle activities

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Allocation of credit card and travel spend
  • Running Aged Debtor and Creditor Reports 
  • Updating Balance Sheet Reconciliations

Additional activities

  • Raising invoices to customers and other Klipboard entities
  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Checking employee expenses for reimbursement
  • Posting month end journals including prepayments, rent control and accruals
  • Other ad hoc Finance tasks as required

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Essential

Education: 

  • 4 GCSE's (Grade 6 or above) or equivalent to include English Language and Mathematics
  • A level pass and or undergraduate level

Skills: 

  • Good IT skills including Excel
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with individuals at varying levels in the organisation
  • Prior experience of working in an office environment

Desirable

  • Intention to go to university and study business, maths or related subject
  • Studying towards AAT or equivalent
