Senior Technology Project Manager – Attractions Project Operations

The Role
Reporting to the Director of Technology Development, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering new attraction openings, closures and divestitures across the Merlin estate. You'll combine operational leadership, innovation and project management expertise to ensure every guest-facing initiative is delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standard.
You'll collaborate with operations, product teams and external vendors to make sure every project aligns with our vision of memorable, guest-centric experiences.
What You'll Do
- Lead delivery of technologies and processes for new attractions, park openings, closures and divestitures.
- Drive quality assurance, testing, and governance to maintain high standards.
- Develop strategic plans for project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Manage budgets up to £2M, ensuring financial accountability and cost efficiency.
- Foster continuous improvement, innovation and operational excellence across teams.
- Lead and influence matrixed teams, supporting recruitment, development and career growth.
- Build strong relationships with vendors and partners, ensuring smooth project integration.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Architecture or a related field.
- Experience in senior project/programme management, ideally in multi-site, multi-jurisdiction businesses.
- Experienced in attraction openings, closures, divestitures or M&A activities.
- Strong operational, leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to innovate and conceptualise unique attractions aligned with brand and guest expectations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities.
