Company Description
Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.
Hey, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte
Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.
Where And How You Can Work
Alongside our global campuses, we also collaborate with talented contractors and freelancers from all over the world to help us achieve our crazy big goals. While we support flexible, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role we're focusing on London so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.
This role is a 12-Month contract, working full-time hours.
What You'd Be Doing In This Role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
At The Moment, This Role Is Focused On
- Own the candidate experience from start to finish. You'll be the engine behind every interview, ensuring every candidate walks away feeling valued and excited about Canva - no matter the outcome.
- Keep things running smoothly (even when it's busy). From scheduling interviews across multiple time zones to unblocking calendar or system issues, you'll keep everything on track with precision and calm under pressure.
- Turn data and feedback into smarter ways of working. You'll look for patterns in how we work, spot opportunities to improve speed and efficiency, and back your ideas with data and insights.
- Be the go-to problem solver for your team. Whether it's a tricky stakeholder request or a last-minute change, you'll find solutions, adapt quickly, and help teammates do the same.
- Collaborate and communicate like a pro. You'll build trust with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates by keeping everyone informed, aligned, and supported - no surprises, just great communication.
- Champion excellence and continuous improvement. You'll seek out better ways to use our tools, help refine processes, and share your learnings to lift the whole team.
You're probably a match if
- You have experience in a fast-paced coordination or operations role (recruitment experience a plus).
- You are confident using scheduling platforms, recruitment software, and digital tools (GoodTime, G Suite, and AI tools ideal).
- Thrives on making things run seamlessly. You take pride in creating order out of chaos — juggling calendars, unblocking last-minute hiccups, and finding smarter ways to keep interviews moving smoothly.
- Cares deeply about people and experience. Whether it's a candidate, recruiter, or hiring manager, you go out of your way to make others feel supported, informed, and valued every step of the way.
- Loves improving how things work. You don't just follow process — you question it, tweak it, and use data and feedback to make it better. You're energised by finding efficiencies that help the whole team shine.
- Communicates clearly and kindly. You're known for your proactive updates, your calm tone under pressure, and your ability to set expectations while keeping relationships strong.
- Stay adaptable and optimistic. You're comfortable with change, quick to find solutions, and unafraid to try new tools or ideas (including AI) if it means a smoother experience for everyone involved.
- Take ownership and lift others as you go. You show initiative, ask for help when needed, and share what you learn to support your teammates and make the collective stronger.
About The Team
We're a tight-knit global crew of Recruitment Coordinators, based across Australia, the US, and Manila - all working together to make every hiring experience smooth, human, and genuinely memorable. We partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers to keep things running seamlessly behind the scenes, often juggling time zones, calendars, and priorities with a smile.
We're curious, resourceful, and a little obsessed with finding better ways to do things - whether that's using automation to save time, refining how we communicate, or creating magical candidate moments that make people fall in love with Canva. Most of all, we've got each other's backs. We celebrate wins, share learnings, and always look for ways to make our work (and each other) better.
Other Stuff To Know
We make hiring decisions to engage contractors based on your experience, skills and passion. When you signify interest in the Project, please tell us the pronouns you use and any reasonable adjustments you may need during the contractor-accreditation interview process.
Please note that contractor-accreditation meetings are conducted virtually.
We celebrate all types of skills and backgrounds at Canva so even if you don't feel like your skills quite match what's listed above - we still want to hear from you
