Recruiting Coordinator

Hudson River Trading (HRT) is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to join our London office. In this role, you will be a scheduling and logistics guru responsible for providing a first-class interview experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders. You will join a tight-knit, global Recruiting Operations team dedicated to overseeing all operational aspects of hiring top talent, and you will partner closely with recruiters to manage candidate flow across numerous teams. The ideal candidate for this role is accustomed to thriving in an extremely fast-paced environment, is meticulously detail-oriented, and is constantly thinking about how to make processes better. If you color code your closets, plan every minute of your vacations ahead of time, and can't imagine life without an organized calendar, this role is for youResponsibilitiesSchedule a high volume of interviews for early career and experienced roles through our scheduling platform (GoodTime) and via manual coordination, as neededWork with leads, managers, recruiters, and interviewers to engage and communicate directly with high-touch candidates Greet candidates at their onsite interviews (in-person and virtual), provide office tours, set expectations, and ensure they're appropriately set up for the dayProvide real-time support for onsite interviews by managing the interviewer flow and troubleshooting issues as they arise Keep hiring teams and candidates up-to-date on recruiting processesGather requirements for new jobs and open requisitions, ensuring data integrity is upkept in our applicant tracking systemIdentify and support recruiting projects by assessing areas of improvement, proposing and driving solutions, updating stakeholders, and collaborating with team members across various time zonesMaintain and develop relationships with all candidates (as hiring needs and interest levels can change quickly), regardless of outcomeManage confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrityPartner with our broader People Ops and Recruiting teams on setting up and attending various conferences, career fairs, and other ad-hoc recruiting eventsQualificationsBachelor's degree2 to 3 years of work experience, preferably in recruiting or HR-related fieldsIn-person attendance at least 3 days/week, and flexibility to come in more often as needed to manage in-person recruiting activities (e.g. interviews, candidate visits)Experience improving and implementing process changesExperience with GoodTime, Greenhouse, and Google suite preferredDemonstrated experience displaying professionalism in dealing with candidates and internal team membersCross-functional communicator with outstanding writing skillsAmbitious with a strong desire to make an impactAbility to build and maintain internal and external relationshipsAbility to approach problems tactfully with directness and integrityAbility to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining a sense of urgency CultureAt HRT we come from a variety of disciplines: mathematics and computer science, physics, and engineering, media and tech.
