Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff, including servers and host/host team members
  • Oversee food and beverage service to ensure guests receive exceptional hospitality
  • Assist with food preparation and cooking when necessary to support kitchen operations
  • Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow efficiently
  • Monitor service standards and provide ongoing training to staff to uphold company policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
  • Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area at all times

Requirements

  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
  • Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
  • Extensive restaurant experience, including food preparation, serving, and food safety knowledge
  • Culinary experience or background in food production is highly desirable
  • Previous experience in hospitality roles such as barista or hotel service is advantageous
  • Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to manage busy service periods calmly and efficiently
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of service delivery
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a friendly demeanour
  • Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • High standard Coffee training is preferred but training can be provided
