Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the smooth operation of our facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out general duties as assigned to ensure efficient operations within the facility
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and products
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Operate machinery and equipment as required, adhering to operational protocols
  • Report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors promptly
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Basic problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to tasks
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential
  • Physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to lift heavy items when necessary
