**Hours of Work**: Monday - Friday, 06:00 - 14:00 & 14:00 - 22:00 (2-week rotating shift)
**Salary**: £13.13 per hour

**About the Role**

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable General Operative to join our fast-paced Manufacturing team at our Upwood site.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for manufacturing and repairing pallets and wood products using a variety of tools and equipment. You’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality work that meets customer specifications, while working efficiently to meet production targets.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manufacture and repair pallets/wood products to meet production and quality standards
- Set up workbenches or machines efficiently, ensuring materials and information are in place
- Follow work orders and design specifications accurately
- Identify and report equipment issues promptly to supervisors
- Carry out additional duties including painting, stenciling, and labelling of pallets
- Load and offload timber from machinery
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organisation in work areas
- Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times
- Support colleagues and supervisors by contributing to team goals

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or manual labour role is advantageous
