Our inclusive school in Westminster is seeking a Dedicated Religious Education Teacher to guide students in exploring faith, ethics, and spirituality within a diverse learning environment. This is a valuable opportunity for a teacher in an environment where Religious Education is central to fostering understanding and respect. The successful Religious Education Teacher will help students develop their spiritual and ethical awareness in a welcoming and open atmosphere within our inclusive school. Location: Westminster
Role: Religious Education Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Religious Education with a focus on exploring a range of faiths, ethical frameworks, and spiritual perspectives in an inclusive manner.
- Encourage critical thinking and respectful dialogue, allowing students to engage with diverse theological and philosophical questions.
- Use engaging and interactive teaching methods to bring faith and ethics to life in the Religious Education classroom, catering to different learning styles.
- Support the school's commitment to inclusivity by promoting understanding and respect for all beliefs within the context of Religious Education.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop a Religious Education curriculum that is relevant and engaging for a diverse student body.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related field.
- A strong personal commitment to fostering understanding and respect for diverse beliefs within religious education in an inclusive school.
- The ability to inspire students to explore and understand faith, ethics, and spirituality in a modern and inclusive context.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate thoughtful and respectful discussions in Religious Education.
- A dedicated educator who values the role of religious education in promoting understanding and empathy in a diverse school community.
