Sheridan Maine is supporting a successful and expanding accountancy practice in their search for a Management Accounts Associate. Key duties of a Management Accounts Associate:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist with balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Liaise with clients to gather information and resolve queries.
  • Work closely with senior colleagues to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Contribute to process improvements and support wider team initiatives.

What makes a Management Accounts Associate successful:

  • AAT qualified or progressing toward a professional qualification such as ACCA or ACA.
  • Experience within management accounts or a similar accounting role is desirable.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication and client-service abilities.
  • Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
