Are you ready to make a genuine difference in people's lives while advancing your career with an award-winning organisation?
At Prosperity Care & Wellbeing, we're passionate about delivering outstanding, person-centred care to vulnerable adults with complex needs. Our work changes lives - and we're proud to be recognised for it:
- Culture and Diversity Award – 2023
- Best Place to Work in Gloucestershire – 2022
- Care Employer of the Year – 2024
- Winner of Excellence in Social Care Training Award – 2024

Join a team that values compassion, innovation, and professional development. We offer a supportive environment, competitive salary, and a wide range of benefits designed to help you flourish - both in your career and personal life.
About the Role:
You will be supporting two individuals in the same home. The people we support both have epilepsy and require close supervision. One experiences moderate absent seizures, follows a strict ketogenic diet, and has a mild learning disability alongside Ring 20 chromosome disorder. They self‑medicate but benefit from prompting and encouragement, and enjoy films, festivals, and bowling. The other has epilepsy along with executive functioning difficulties, social anxiety, and selective mutism, which affect their ability to manage morning and evening routines independently. They rely on staff prompts for personal care, medication, safe meal and drink preparation, and safe mobilization. They enjoy music, prefer structured routines but value choice and flexibility, and benefit from patient, person‑centred support.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting with daily routines, promoting independence, managing behaviours positively, and ensuring a safe and engaging environment. As a Senior Support Worker, you'll also be responsible for leading and supporting a small team, ensuring high standards of care are consistently met. This includes overseeing daily handovers, mentoring staff, completing regular audits, contributing to care planning and risk assessments, liaising with external professionals, and supporting the Service Manager with rota planning, training, and team development.
Why Choose Prosperity Care & Wellbeing?
We believe in looking after our people so they can provide the best support to others. Our benefits include:
- Early access to pay
- Vivup employee benefits, including 24/7 GP access and free counselling and mental health support
- Discounts on wellbeing products and gym membership
- Wellbeing support programmes
- Free enhanced DBS check
- Annual attendance bonus (Job Grade A)
