Role Overview
We're looking for a
Head of E-commerce
to own and scale PerfectTed's entire digital commerce function — from D2C to marketplaces.
This is a senior, strategic role for an ambitious e-commerce leader who has already proven they can scale a consumer business from
single-digit to double-digit millions in revenue quickly
.
You'll balance
revenue and brand KPIs
, ensuring PerfectTed's digital commerce is not just about conversion but about
building long-term brand equity and immediate awareness gains
. Most importantly, you'll have the freedom to
build tomorrow's digital team today
— putting AI, automation, and new discovery channels at the forefront of how we operate.
Key Responsibilities
- E-commerce Growth Strategy
– Define and deliver the roadmap for D2C, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and future platforms. - Revenue & Brand KPIs
– Own both commercial targets and brand-building metrics, ensuring growth aligns with PerfectTed's challenger brand. - Commercial & P&L Ownership
– Lead forecasting, budgeting, and profitability across all e-com channels. - Future-Proofing & Innovation
– Build tomorrow's digital team today, embedding AI, automation, and attribution innovation into the way we work. - Team Leadership & Marketing Collaboration
– Build and lead the e-commerce team while working in lockstep with marketing to align traffic, campaigns, and creative.
Requirements
Must-Haves:
- Proven
Head of E-commerce
with success scaling from single-digit to double-digit millions in revenue. - 7–10 years in high-growth consumer e-commerce (tech, fashion, beauty, or other innovative sectors — not necessarily F&B).
- Commercially sharp: hands-on
P&L management
, forecasting, and margin optimisation. - Deep knowledge of Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and marketplaces.
- Strong grasp of
AI, automation, and attribution
— future-facing and innovative. - Skilled at working to
both commercial and brand KPIs
. - Experienced people leader, confident in building and developing teams.
- Entrepreneurial, ambitious, and comfortable operating in a
fast-paced, founder-led challenger brand
.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience launching e-commerce into new global markets.
- Track record of building teams from scratch in challenger brands.
- Knowledge of retail media and omni-channel integration.
