A dynamic, high-growth beauty, personal care and lifestyle SME brand is seeking a National Account Controller to lead its UK commercial strategy and develop key retail partnerships. With strong category momentum and an entrepreneurial culture, this is an opportunity to make a significant impact at a pivotal stage of growth.
Role Overview
Reporting to the General Manager UK & EMEA, you will take full responsibility for commercial performance across the UK retail and distributor network. This role combines strategic planning, customer engagement, and team leadership. You will shape sales plans, build collaborative business relationships, and play a key role in long-term commercial decision-making and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver sales and profit targets across UK and EMEA retail and distributor partners.
• Lead, develop, and support a team of National Account Managers/Executives with clear objectives and performance accountability.
• Build strong senior-level relationships with key retailers and partners, leading negotiations and joint business planning.
• Work closely with Demand Planning and Operations teams to ensure accurate forecasting and optimal stock availability.
• Oversee promotional calendars, trade investment planning, and in-store activation in partnership with Marketing and Trade teams.
• Analyse commercial performance across channels to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for optimisation.
• Represent the brand at customer meetings, trade events, and market presentations.
Experience Required
• Strong commercial acumen, with proven success within beauty, personal care, or lifestyle consumer categories.
• Experience managing major UK retail accounts such as Boots, Superdrug and Amazon.
• Confident leader with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop a team.
• Skilled negotiator, relationship builder, and communicator, able to influence at multiple stakeholder levels.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
