Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team . As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.

Your role will involve not only bartending but also assisting with food service, making it essential that you possess a strong understanding of food safety and time management.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and soft drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Assist with the serving of food items as needed, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and taking orders efficiently.
  • Handle transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a bar or event hospitality setting is essential; a willingness to learn is key.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
  • Basic bartending skills with an understanding of drinks, including cocktails and beverage upselling.
  • A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated when required.
