The Role – Deputy Manager

As Deputy Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the Nursery Manager to lead the setting and deliver outstanding childcare every day.

You'll:

  • Assist in the overall management of the nursery
  • Lead, mentor and develop the staff team
  • Ensure safeguarding and EYFS standards are consistently met
  • Build strong partnerships with families and provide excellent customer care
  • Lead by example, creating a safe, fun and nurturing environment

Requirements

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant, minimum)
  • Proven leadership experience in a nursery or childcare setting
  • Paediatric First Aid & DSL (preferred – training available if needed)
  • Strong record of CPD and professional growth
  • Excellent leadership, organisation and communication skills
  • A genuine passion for early years care and education
