Early Years Manager – Aylestone

At St George's Nursery, we've been nurturing little learners for over 30 years. As a family-run group with a big heart, we create safe, stimulating spaces where children thrive — and where our staff feel truly supported and valued.

We're now seeking a dynamic Early Years Manager to lead our Aylestone nursery. This is your opportunity to be at the centre of it all: driving excellence in childcare, motivating a passionate team, and working hand-in-hand with our Business Manager to ensure the nursery runs smoothly, every single day.

What You'll Do

  • Take overall responsibility for day-to-day nursery operations
  • Lead, inspire and develop a dedicated team of practitioners
  • Partner with the Business Manager on staffing, budgets and compliance
  • Build strong relationships with families and the wider community
  • Deliver outstanding EYFS practice and exceed Ofsted standards
  • Create a safe, fun and nurturing environment where every child flourishes

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience as a Manager or Deputy Manager in early years
  • Confident leadership and people skills – you bring out the best in others
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
  • Paediatric First Aid & Safeguarding training (or willingness to update)
