At St George's Nursery, we've been nurturing little learners for over 30 years. We're a family-run group with a big heart — creating safe, stimulating spaces where children thrive, and where staff feel truly supported and valued.

We're now looking for a dynamic Early Years Manager to lead our [Location] nursery. This is your chance to be at the centre of it all — driving excellence in childcare, leading a motivated team, and working hand-in-hand with our Business Manager to ensure the nursery runs smoothly day in, day out.

What You'll Do

  • Take full responsibility for daily nursery operations
  • Lead, inspire and develop a dedicated team of practitioners
  • Work closely with the Business Manager on staffing, budgets and compliance
  • Build brilliant relationships with families and the local community
  • Deliver outstanding EYFS practice and ensure Ofsted standards are exceeded
  • Create a safe, fun and nurturing environment where every child flourishes

What We're Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum)
  • Experience as a Manager or Deputy Manager in early years
  • Confident leadership and people skills – you bring out the best in others
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
  • Paediatric First Aid & Safeguarding (or willingness to refresh)
