We are looking for a Nursery Apprentice to work within a close-knit team of caring professionals all keen to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for the children whilst providing reassurance and support for their parents.

Interested in:

A pro-active individual keen to learn from the Nursery team whilst being supported by an Apprenticeship Skills Coach.

Role requirements:

  • Good communication skills
  • Support the delivery of activities in the Nursery
  • Time management skills in order to complete the Apprenticeship off job learning
  • Support the team with records and observations as required by DFE and Ofsted
  • Support in the preparation, care and cleanliness of the Nursery rooms
  • An ability to develop positive relationships with parents
  • Seek out own learning opportunities

This post will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check due to the nature of the business.

Availability:

The role offers 38 hours per week to cover 4 days out of 5, Monday - Friday. This is a temporary position with a view to a permanent role upon completion of your apprenticeship.

Flexibility to provide support during periods of sickness or holidays is essential to meet the commercial needs of the business.
