We are looking for a Night Porter to join our friendly team.

The role

As a key member of the Victoria Hotel you will be instrumental in ensuring our guests have the best possible experience within a beautifully located 30 Bedroom Hotel. We are looking for someone to work three nights (Sunday, Monday & Tuesday) 11pm to 8am with the flexibility to cover holidays for our other Night Porter if required.

Day to Day

You will be responsible for the security of the hotel and the safety and comfort of our guests. Undertaking regular checks and inspections of the building as well as ensuring communal areas are presented & maintained to a high standard.

This may include after hours service in the bar for our residents, cleaning communal areas and preparing breakfast stations for the following day

Following appropriate training you will have a full understanding of fire procedures and what to do in an emergency.

Preferred Requirements.

  • Some experience of working in a night-time position
  • Ability to work in a timely manner
  • Attention to detail
  • Self motivated and able to work on own initiative without ongoing direct supervision
  • Be an enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable team player.

You will be part of a very friendly and dynamic small team who pride themselves on delivering excellent customer experiences.
