We are now recruiting a Night Auditor to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton York.

As a Night Auditor you are responsible for providing exceptional reception service to all guests of the hotel. Ensuring hotel quality standards whilst maintaining the safety the guests and employees at all times.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

· Create and take advantage of sales opportunities in order to maximise hotel revenue.

· To welcome all guests on their arrival and assist them in a courteous, helpful manner with registration and when checking out of the hotel.

· Answer telephones promptly and correctly to maximise business and minimise guest frustration.

· Conducting the night audit.

· Support in the Food and Beverage Department when necessary.

· Be fully aware of daily activities in the hotel and ensure knowledge of hotel facilities and promote them whenever possible.

· Maintain good working relationships with colleagues in the reception area and other departments of the hotel.

· Take personal responsibility in a guest situation to ensure that it gets resolved efficiently and follow-up to ensure that the guest leaves feeling satisfied.

· Be able to be cross-train in other departments to develop individual potential.

· Ensure that guests receive an exceptional level of service and will want to return.

· Have a flexible approach to the hours you are required to work and always work as a team.
