Location: HARIBO Castleford (hybrid working – 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home)

Working hours: 38 (Monday – Friday)

Salary: Competitive; plus an annual bonus

Position type: 12-month fixed term contract

We are on the hunt for an amazingly talented 'Graphic Designer' to come and join our happy world of HARIBO on a 12-month fixed term contract This could be YOUR opportunity to take a fizz-tastic seat within our Design team aka 'The Den' (how cool does that sound) whilst also building star-mix relationships with our Head of Design as well as a whole host of amazing stakeholders.

So how will I add to the HARIBO mix?

Working in partnership with our Brand, Shopper Marketing and HARIBO Retail teams, you'll be our brand guardian creating engaging and impactful on-brand designs with the consumer firmly at heart

Strong in ideation, handy at sketching, and driven by executional details you'll craft stand out and emotive packaging designs from concept and in-store. We are looking for someone who loves our brand as much as we do and who thrives in a fast-paced environment, producing creative that resonates with both consumers and shoppers alike.

This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate within a highly integrated environment producing creative across print, digital, out of home and sooo much more Motion design experience will be the cherry on the top

How you'll contribute to the mix:

Brand guardianship -

• Ensuring brand consistency with brand guidelines whilst also pushing creative boundaries

Design quality and print readiness -

• Being curious and asking the right questions to land an ownable creative.
• Designing for print: experience and understanding of the print processes.
• Collaborating with the Artwork team to ensure smooth execution of all print designs

Project and time management -

• Managing multiple creative projects simultaneously and effectively balancing priorities and meeting deadlines
• Cross-functional collaboration
• Collaborating and communicating clearly with internal and external teams across local and regional markets.

Creative trend awareness -

• Keeping up to date with design trends, competitor activity and new technologies

Can you supply our essential ingredients?

We are on the hunt for an individual with exceptional design experience within our fantastic world of FMCG… are you ticking our boxes from the offset?

Do you have experience of working within a multi-disciplined team as well as a stand-out portfolio demonstrating expertise in ideation and concept work right through to packaging, campaign design and POS across digital and print?

To hit the ground running in this position, experience of designing for print and digital knowledge is key. We are also looking for someone who has experience in understanding and expressing brand values through design. Do you have what it takes?

Strategy is also super important, are you a natural strategic thinker with proven experience in delivering products to market?

You must also be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite; however, we would love to hear about your other system superpowers too
