Role Description
We're now hiring
two Channel Managers (Sport)

What You'll Do
- Own the distribution strategy for multiple sports shows, ensuring optimal rollout of long-form and short-form content across all platforms.
- Co-manage eight channels with another Channel Manager, splitting show ownership across the network.
- Edit short-form social clips, create cutdowns from long-form footage, and oversee final edits before publishing.
- Manage uploads across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and X - including thumbnails, titles, descriptions, tags, metadata, and playlists.
- Work closely with Producers and Editors to identify key social-first moments from each episode.
- Review and refine social copy and creative approvals in line with platform best practices.
- Optimise content performance using analytics, insights, and knowledge of algorithms to drive channel growth and retention.
- Collaborate with the Head of Social, Social Execs, and Community Manager to deliver an integrated, high-performing content ecosystem.
- Stay ahead of sports trends, creator formats, platform updates, and audience behaviours.
Qualifications
- 2 - 4+ years managing social or YouTube channels in sport, creator, media or entertainment.
- Strong understanding of how to grow audiences through thumbnails, metadata, headlines, hooks, pacing and strategic publishing.
- Hands-on editing experience - able to cut engaging short-form clips quickly and confidently (Premiere Pro or similar).
- Ability to lead channel rollout plans across multiple shows at once, prioritising speed, quality and consistency.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills - able to liaise with Producers, Editors, Talent and Exec teams.
- Passion for sport (football, boxing, F1 or wider sports culture) and understanding of what fans actually engage with.
- Analytical mindset with experience using YouTube Studio, TikTok Analytics, Meta Business Suite or similar tools.
Why Join Us
