Job Description / Summary:
Eden Brook Home Care has been providing high quality home care since 2012. We are now looking to expand our office team and are seeking a Field Care Supervisor / Office Support (care coordinator), to help support both our care staff and management in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care to our service users.
This role involves a combination of office-based responsibilities and time spent out in the community completing staff assessments and quality checks. If you are experienced in domiciliary care, organised, confident, and passionate about maintaining high standards, we would love to hear from you.
Salary: £30,240 per year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Location: Chelmsford and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
On-call: 1 weekend in 4, and occasional weekday cover with notice.
Your Role Will Include:
Out in the field:
· Conducting spot checks to ensure staff are delivering safe and high-quality care
· Signing off new staff for medication, manual handling, and solo working
· Supporting care staff with guidance, coaching and reassurance
· Providing domiciliary care to service users if required
· Maintaining detailed and accurate records in line with company procedures
· Conducting competency checks, observations and medication audits
Office based:
· Supporting the Care Manager with daily tasks and service delivery
· Working alongside the office team to help maintain compliance requirements
· Understanding and implementing CQC standards (training provided)
· Assisting with client care plans, reviews and follow-up visits
· Responding to client and staff concerns professionally and efficiently
· Participating in on-call duties (1 weekend in 4 and occasional weekday cover)
Our Requirements:
· Previous experience working in office support within the care industry
· Domiciliary care experience (essential)
· Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle (essential)
· Strong communication and organisational skills
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
· Compassionate, professional and confident in decision-making
