Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on M&A transactions
  • Working on version control, track changes
  • Keeping libraries of particular contracts and insurance policies
  • Working on amendments to contracts
  • Keeping notes of calls
  • Screening and signposting emails
  • Conducting legal research, using internet and other research tools
  • Proof reading
  • Document management
  • Administrative tasks
  • Providing assistance with ad-hoc queries and requests from the team

Qualifications / Skills / Experience

  • LPC or SQE desirable
  • Degree educated or similar level
  • Demonstrable legal background (academic or in practice) in areas of M&A and insurance, and as a paralegal
  • Familiarity with e-discovery software, such as Relativity is desirable, and a good working knowledge of Excel is desirable but not essential
  • Language skills - French, Russian, Spanish all useful
