Location: Richmond
Role: Sociology Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Sociology lessons across Key Stage 4 (and potentially KS5).
- Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of sociological theories and concepts within Sociology.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Sociology curriculum within the Social Sciences department.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Sociology.
- Potentially contribute to extracurricular Sociology clubs or discussions, promoting engagement with Sociology.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Sociology.
- Degree in Sociology or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Sociology at Key Stage 4 (experience at KS5 advantageous).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject of Sociology.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bring Sociology to life for students.
- A commitment to fostering critical thinking and sociological understanding in Sociology.
