Are you an experienced wastewater professional with a passion for sharing knowledge and developing others? We're looking for a
Technical Training Lead
who brings deep operational expertise and a desire to coach and mentor teams to success.
This role is perfect for someone who's worked in wastewater operations and wants to transition into a role focused on
training, coaching, and competency development
. You'll be supported to gain teaching qualifications if needed—what matters most is your
technical credibility and enthusiasm for helping others learn
.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver hands-on technical training and assessments
- Coach individuals and support their development
- Collaborate with SMEs to build relevant training content
- Use tools like Clever Nelly to assess and track competency
- Continuously improve training delivery and content
What You'll Bring
- Extensive experience in wastewater operations
- Strong understanding of regulatory and safety standards
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
- Desire to support others and share knowledge
- Level 3 qualification (or willingness to undertake one)

Package
This role will be full time Monday to Friday 37 hours a week.
Southern Water operate a hybrid approach to working between our Falmer office/sites and home.
