What You'll Be Doing
As a Technical Programme Planner, you'll:
- Analyse data to prioritise work and guide investment decisions
- Monitor project progress and support suppliers with technical studies
- Ensure teams have access to the systems and resources they need
- Help build and refine our long-term business plans
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Support engineers in developing effective, sustainable solutions
You'll Also Contribute To Strategic Planning By
- Promoting excellence in Health & Safety across planning activities
- Prioritising risk-based investments to meet programme targets
- Aligning investment options with business goals and outcomes
- Supporting workshops and decision-making processes
- Helping implement plans aligned with regulatory frameworks (e.g. WRMP, DWMP)
- Communicating investment programmes clearly to stakeholders
- Supporting cost-benefit analysis and whole-life costing
Who We're Looking For
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Has previous work experience in heavily regulated environments, such as utilities
- Experienced with data analysis
- Is curious about infrastructure planning and asset management
- Enjoys solving problems and working collaboratively
- Has strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Wants to make a long-term impact on water services and sustainability
Package
- This role will be full time Monday to Friday 37 hours a week
- Southern Water operate a hybrid approach to working between our sites and home
- We are offering a salary starting from £32.700 per annum depending on skills and experience as well as other benefits including:
