Based at an award winning wedding venue in Usk, Monmouthshire, we are seeking a dedicated cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the property with 9 holiday lets and a Manor House. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are kept tidy, safe, and welcoming for guests. Previous experience is ESSENTIAL. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and reliability are highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and making beds.
  • Ensure restrooms are hygienic and well-stocked with supplies
  • Maintain cleanliness of communal spaces.
  • Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure recycling procedures are followed
  • Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold a safe working environment

Essential Experience

  • Prior experience in hotel housekeeping for a minimum of 3 years is ESSENTIAL
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as efficiently within a team environment
  • A proactive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness

This role is available for either x2 12-hour positions or x1 24-hour position

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
