What You'll Be Doing

As a Physics Teacher, whether ECT or experienced, your role will involve:

• Teaching Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to engage with and deepen their understanding of the subject.

• Planning and delivering differentiated Physics lessons that cater to a range of abilities and foster curiosity.

• Leading practical experiments and demonstrations that link theoretical knowledge with real-world applications in Physics.

• Assessing and tracking student progress, using data to support development and raise attainment in Physics.

• Contributing to the development and improvement of the Physics curriculum, ensuring it is engaging and up-to-date.

• Supporting extracurricular activities and participating in school science initiatives, enriching the school experience for students.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a Physics Teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Physics or a closely related field.

• Has experience teaching Physics, either as an ECT or an experienced teacher, with a focus on students aged 11–16.

• Is confident in planning and delivering engaging, high-quality Physics lessons that inspire a passion for the subject.

• Has a proactive and reflective approach to professional development and is committed to their own growth as a Physics Teacher.

• Is enthusiastic about fostering a love for Physics and inspiring students to reach their full potential.

• Works well as part of a team and actively contributes to the positive ethos of the school.
