Job Overview

We are seeking, on a temporary basis, dedicated cleaners to join our team responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a primary school in Grantham. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to creating hygienic, welcoming environments. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring our clients' spaces are spotless and well-maintained, contributing to a professional and healthy atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces in a school environmental.
  • Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas according to health and safety standards
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure it is stored safely and correctly after use
  • Follow specific cleaning schedules and procedures as outlined by supervisors

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently within allocated timeframes
  • Good organisational skills and reliability
  • Physical fitness to perform cleaning tasks which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • A proactive attitude towards maintaining hygiene standards in busy environments
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate must be held and in date.

Hours

Monday to Friday 3pm to 6pm.

Contract will be a minimum of 2 weeks.

Job Type: Temporary

Contract length: 3 weeks

Pay: £12.21-£16.82 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
