Here at The Ark Pre-School, we are looking for someone enthusiastic, passionate and a team player to come and join our fantastic setting.

Our ideal candidate would answer Yes to the following:

3. Do you enjoy allowing children freedom to learn through a play-based environment?

When we invite you for an interview, we want you to feel relaxed, feel no pressure and enjoy your time as we get to know each other. We'll show you around our setting, introducing you to each of our lovely staff members and children.

We'd then go onto discussing all the things you feel passionate about, what motivates you and what you really find important about working with children.

We'll share with you all the things we implement within our setting and give you the opportunity to share your understanding of why you think do the things we do…maybe you could share some experiences with us if you feel your practice reflects our ethos.

We take safeguarding seriously and we're very passionate about giving and doing more to support our children and families.

When the interview is over, we hope you feel excited about your future with us should you be successful in joining our team. We feel very passionate that a strong team builds strong children. We aren't afraid to admit we have high expectations of the staff we have at The Ark.

Job Type: Part-time, Permanent. 38 weeks per year (term time)

Schedule: Monday- Friday (days to be confirmed) between the hours of 8:30-3:30, term time only

Experience- Childcare- level 3 (preferred), level 2 (ESSENTIAL)
