Bristol, Bristol, United Kingdom Vertical Aerospace Full time £60,000 - £100,000 per year

Our Mission

At Vertical Aerospace, we are pioneering the way for electric aviation. The VX4, our eVTOL (electric, vertical, take-off and landing), 'zero emissions' aircraft will set a new safety standard for how we will navigate the sky.

We won't realise our mission following the same legacy processes and traditions our predecessors followed, instead, we want to 'redefine' aerospace best practices.

We are growing quickly from a prototype business to a scaling SME, and the next few years will be critical to our success and delivering on our ambitious goals of having the VX4 in service by 2030.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate external design teams and delivery partners, ensuring seamless end‑to‑end project execution

  • Lead technical infrastructure projects throughout the full life cycle – from brief to hand‑over

  • Ensure compliance with CDM 2015, Building Regulations and our internal safety & quality standards

  • Work cross‑functionally with stakeholders in engineering, manufacturing and operations to shape facility solutions aligned to business ambitions

  • Manage project timelines, milestones, budgets and risks; drive accountability and clarity across all parties

  • Develop scopes of work, support procurement, monitor contractor performance and champion continuous improvement

  • Provide project reporting and insight, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce cost and de‑risk delivery

What You'll Bring

  • Working knowledge of the RIBA Plan of Work and its application across all project stages

  • Proven experience managing technical property or infrastructure projects from design through to delivery

  • Solid understanding of UK building regulations, CDM 2015 and relevant health & safety legislation

  • Comfortable engaging with architects, engineers, contractors and internal stakeholders across disciplines

  • Experience managing budgets, programmes and procurement within a construction or infrastructure context

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications and challenge design decisions when required

  • Clear communicator and organised leader with a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset

  • Familiarity with manufacturing or R&D environments is advantageous

  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in construction, engineering, architecture or project management is preferred
