We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining smooth office operations, providing administrative support, and ensuring effective communication across departments and with our clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong office experience, and proficient computer skills. The successful candidate will be a point of contact for callers, providing excellent customer service. The ideal applicant will have an excellent telephone manner, previous office experience, strong computer skills, and exceptional organisational abilities.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day administrative tasks including, emailing responses, data entry, and document management
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
  • Placing orders with suppliers and assisting with general purchasing duties
  • Coordinate communication between departments and external clients and suppliers
  • Raising purchase orders for suppliers
  • Keep accurate records and databases, ensuring confidentiality and GDPR compliance
  • Manage WhatsApp communications

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years working within an office environment.
  • Microsoft Office: Computer skills
  • Telephone & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional telephone manner
  • Literacy and good use of the English language: Reading and writing
  • Organizational Skills: Time management abilities
