Your lightning quick multi-tasking skills are even more impressive because they're coupled with unwavering accuracy and precision no matter the volume of requests underway. You never settle for how things have been done in the past, and always bring your analytical and innovative mindset to continually improve processes. Given your expertise and unique skillset, we know you'll excel in our Payroll Coordinator position.

In this role, you'll be responsible for processing payroll accurately and meeting all required deadlines related to payroll programs.

In this role, you will:
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of our payroll processes and become skilled in independently executing payroll activities.
  • Handle full-cycle payroll processing autonomously.
  • Suggest, initiate, and implement enhancements to our payroll procedures.
  • Recommend system enhancements and engage in system testing.
  • Contribute to the T4/T4A reconciliation and production process.
  • Update and develop payroll documentation and procedure manuals.
What it takes:
  • A diploma in business administration or accounting from a recognized program, plus two years of payroll experience, including experience and proficiency using the SAP Human Resources module, completion of Level 1 Payroll Compliance Practitioner program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Excellent organization skills and multi-tasking abilities to deal with a high volume of tasks and manage multiple projects or assignments at the same time.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy while addressing complex issues and overseeing all payroll related tasks.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills to maintain effective work relationships and accomplish team goals.

In this role, you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program, enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week), subject to business or operational needs.
