The Event & Marketing Coordinator role

  • Running end-to-end events across Europe: Light-hosted events, partner activations, trade fairs, ABM dinners, and more.
  • Planning & execution: themes, landing pages (with content lead), partner/speaker coordination, venues, catering, attendee recruitment.
  • On-site hosting: logistics, registrations, guest experience, speaker briefings, AV coordination.
  • Post-event amplification: gathering assets, coordinating follow-ups (emails, snippets, gifts).
  • Social media coordination: scheduling posts, repurposing content snippets, monitoring channels.
  • Admin & coordination: tracking campaign performance, managing timelines, supporting the sales/marketing interface.
  • ABM execution: preparing/sending gifts, syncing with sales lists, tracking sends.

How You Fit Into The Team
Your mission is to make Light's events unforgettable and our marketing operations smooth and scalable. You'll be the operational backbone of our European marketing efforts – making sure events are world-class, content gets out, and ABM is through the roof.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in high-paced environments, loves creating great experiences for people, and enjoys juggling multiple tasks while keeping calm and organized.

Your qualifications could be:

  • 2–4 years experience in event management, field marketing, or marketing coordination (B2B SaaS or fintech a plus).
  • Proven ability to run events end-to-end: from planning and logistics to on-site execution and follow-up.
  • Project management skills: highly organized, able to juggle multiple deadlines, stakeholders, and moving parts without losing sight of detail.
  • Strong communication skills: confident at briefing speakers, liaising with partners, and engaging attendees.
  • Content coordination: comfortable working with designers, videographers, and copywriters to deliver assets for campaigns and events.
  • Digital literacy: experience with marketing tools (HubSpot, Eventbrite/Splash, Airtable, LinkedIn, Google Workspace).
  • Data-driven mindset: track ROI of events/campaigns, report on leads generated, and use insights to improve future activations.
  • Creative problem solver: resourceful under pressure; quick to adapt when plans change on-site.
  • A natural people person – approachable, charismatic, and skilled at building relationships across sales, marketing, and external partners.
  • Full professional proficiency in English

Bonus points

  • Experience in B2B SaaS or fintech.
  • Hands-on experience with ABM.
  • Experience running international or multi-city events.
  • A track record of supporting sales teams with high-quality pipeline from events.
