Your Mission

The Marketing Coordinator at Holden Group will deliver campaigns across sales and aftersales, manage the marketing calendar, assets, and CRM activity, and support events and local initiatives. They will build strong relationships with site teams, suppliers, and manufacturers, oversee the Marketing Assistant, and work with digital partners to maximise impact, requiring a hands-on, organised approach and travel across Holden sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver tactical marketing campaigns across sales and aftersales for all dealerships in the group.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with site managers, third-party suppliers, and manufacturer marketing teams.
  • Oversee the annual group marketing calendar, ensuring key campaigns (e.g. new model launches, seasonal service events, local initiatives) are planned and communicated in advance.
  • Manage the delivery of assets (digital, print, and event collateral) to ensure brand compliance.
  • Support and help execute local events, promotions, and sponsorships that drive footfall and enquiries.
  • Liaise with digital partners/agencies on website content, SEO, PPC, and social media activity.
  • Manage the customer database and CRM, including email and SMS marketing campaigns.
  • Track and report on campaign activity to demonstrate impact on enquiry generation and sales.
  • Prioritise activities and resources to deliver the greatest commercial impact while balancing manufacturer requirements.
  • Coordinate and oversee the Marketing Assistant's daily duties, ensuring website updates are completed while supporting their ongoing development in social media.

Person Specification

  • Energetic, proactive, and hands-on: someone who makes things happen.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns.
  • Resilient and resourceful under pressure, able to adapt quickly when priorities change.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills — able to build positive relationships with colleagues at site level and external suppliers.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in marketing coordination, event planning and management, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience with digital marketing (web content, SEO, PPC, social media) and CRM systems.
  • Working knowledge of the following tools and systems will be required;
  • Mailchimp or similar email programme
  • Google platform including Google My Business and analytics
  • Meta platform
  • LinkedIn Platform
  • Photoshop or similar design programmes
  • Adobe
  • Website CMS platforms preferably WordPress

The role requires travel between Holden sites and therefore a full UK driving license will be required.
