Role Description
This is a contract, on-site role for an Experienced Floor Layer. The Floor Layer will be responsible for preparing and levelling surfaces, installing various types of flooring, ensuring precise and professional finish, and providing maintenance services as needed. Daily tasks involve working with different materials, reading and interpreting specifications, and collaborating with the team to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience in preparing and levelling surfaces
- Proficiency in installing various flooring types such as carpet, vinyl, coving etc
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and plans
- Skills in using flooring tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Physical stamina and ability to handle manual tasks
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in flooring installation are a plus
- Previous experience in commercial flooring projects preferred
