My client is a privately-owned, tech business with PE investment and fantastic vision for the future. With continued growth and the confidence of professional investors, the time has come for the business to add a capable, driven, and commercial senior finance professional to strengthen the management team. Reporting to the CEO and responsible for a small, motivated team, your duties will include (but not be restricted to...)

Responsibilities

  • Providing key financial and commercial guidance to the CEO and external investors
  • Review, develop and improve existing processes and procedures to drive first class reporting
  • Production of monthly management accounts, variance analysis and profitability/cost analysis
  • Work with colleagues across the business as well as external stakeholders and customers to improve productivity and delivery
  • Budgeting, forecasting and pricing / costing
  • Lead and develop a small but eager finance team keen to add value
  • Drive continuous improvement across the business
  • Be a key driver in business growth

The successful candidate will be:-

  • An experienced senior finance professional at FC / FD level
  • Qualified (ACA, ACCCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Commercial with strong analysis, reporting and partnering skills
  • A skillful stakeholder manager
  • Experience in online, supply chain or distribution businesses would be an advantage
  • Be able to commit to 3-4 days per week on site
