This hands-on role is essential to maintaining a professional, safe, and functional workplace environment for our client's employees while ensuring quick response times and high-quality workmanship.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Maintenance & RepairsPerform routine maintenance and repairs on corporate office facilitiesExecute preventive maintenance tasks on building systems and equipmentRespond promptly to employee work requests and service callsConduct general carpentry, painting, and minor construction workPerform basic plumbing repairs (leaks, clogs, fixture replacements)Handle electrical maintenance (lighting, outlets, switches) within scope of qualificationsMaintain and repair office furniture, fixtures, and equipmentDaily Operations SupportConduct daily facility walkthroughs and safety inspectionsPerform space setup and reconfiguration for meetings and eventsSupport employee moves, adds, and changes (MAC) activitiesMaintain common areas, conference rooms, and employee amenitiesEnsure all work areas are clean and professional in appearanceMonitor and maintain building systems operationCorporate Environment ResponsibilitiesMaintain professional appearance and demeanour when interacting with corporate employeesFollow all corporate client policies and security proceduresUse appropriate signage and safety protocols during work activitiesCoordinate with corporate IT and security teams as neededSupport corporate events and special functionsMaintain confidentiality and professionalism at all timesVendor CoordinationAssist with contractor and vendor access coordinationProvide support for specialised repair and maintenance activitiesConduct basic quality inspections of vendor workReport equipment issues requiring specialised serviceMaintain inventory of common repair materials and suppliesRequired Qualifications3-5 years of experience in general maintenance, handyperson services, or related tradesBasic skills in multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting)Experience working in corporate or commercial office environmentsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailPreferred QualificationsTechnical certification or trade school completionExperience with corporate facilities or commercial buildingsBasic HVAC maintenance knowledgeExperience with office furniture installation and repairFamiliarity with building automation systemsTechnical SkillsProficiency with hand and power toolsBasic understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)Ability to read basic blueprints and technical diagramsKnowledge of building codes and safety regulationsExperience with work order management systemsBasic computer skills for documentation and reportingKey
