Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Office Administrator to work with an establised team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gerneral office duties such as dealing with calls of different types, this is a big part of the job, along with emailing, filing etc. As an Office Adminitrator at Higham Press you will play a key role in the flow of the office and the work coming into the office.
Responsibilities
- Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing them appropriately
- Organising and maintaining physical and digital files, records, and documents
- Performing data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office.
- Handling correspondence via email, postal services, and other communication channels
- Providing general administrative support to team members as required
- Ensuring the office environment is tidy, organised, and well-stocked with supplies
Experience
- Previous office experience or administrative experience is preferred
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and basic data entry skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and office management best practices
