As our BI Platform Administrator, you'll run and optimize our Strategy environment, ensuring it's secure, performant, and aligned with business goals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • System Management: Working with our Strategy vendors, install, configure, upgrade, and patch MicroStrategy environments; monitor server activity and performance.
  • Security & Permissions: Build and manage security models and implement role-based access controls (RBAC) to enforce data protection and compliance.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions for stability and scalability.
  • Technical Support: Resolve production issues and provide expert guidance to business users.
  • Data Governance: Ensure compliance with data policies and maintain integrity across BI systems.
  • Collaboration: Working under the direction of the Head of Data & Analytics in a team of Data Product Managers, Data Engineers, and BI Analysts to deliver impactful solutions.

The Ideal Candidate

  • MicroStrategy Certified Administrator (mandatory)
  • Proven experience in MicroStrategy administration, including cloud migrations, upgrades and performance tuning
  • Expertise in security model design and RBAC implementation
  • Knowledge of Snowflake integration and data warehousing concepts
  • Strong understanding of security principles and IT infrastructure
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work on-site full-time
