The role will involve having overall responsibility for the activities of the ERP system and internal IT systems as well as upkeep of the company's hardware infrastructure. This will include relationships with internal stakeholders around the Engineeringand Production departments as well as interaction within the Finance and Admin departments on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. The role will also require a close working relationship the Technology department to assist in the upliftment of the company togain live data and technological interaction between Production and Engineering activities.

**IT Systems Engineer Salary & Benefits**
- Salary of up to £45,000
- 25 days holiday (plus 8 Bank Holidays) - 4 need to be saved for 2 week Christmas shutdown
- Monday to Friday Hours 8.30am to 5.30pm

**IT Systems Engineer Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Maintenance and implementation of MRP and ERP system improvements.
- Understanding of production shop floor data logging requirements and general manufacturing process flows and system interactions.
- Development of reports based on MRP and MS Power Query, Power BI.
- Implementation of shop floor logging apps based on MS Power Apps/Power BI.
- Support and maintain the server infrastructure, cloud services, and network.
- Support and maintain the company's desktop and mobile devices using Microsoft Active
- Directory, Group Policy, and other third-party products.
- Support and maintain system backups.
- Provide support of and maintenance services for current IT infrastructure, systems software and hardware with engaging in the use of the companies approved IT services provider if required.
- To engage with company staff to develop the company's systems to support and enhance teaching and learning.
- Keep abreast of new technological developments in IT and present recommendations which would benefit the company.

**IT Systems Engineer Essential Experience and skills**
- Experience within a senior IT position within a Production/ Engineering or Manufacturing company.
- Strong ERP and MRP knowledge - experience of working with these systems
- Experience of managing of IT and ERP systems
- Demonstrable understandings of IT hardware and software support and interactions around varying software packages
- Exposure to
- SQL server and database interactions and administrations
- Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 - 2019
- Microsoft 365 packages Microsoft Office 365 Microsoft Cloud Technologies; Azure Configuration and Deployment Active Directory
- Networking infrastructure installing, testing and diagnosing (preferential but not essential)
- New product/ system implementation, system orientation and training to employees
