Seasonal Sales Role in MOOMIN Shop- Student Friendly, Covent Garden

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Seasonal Sales Associates to join our team for the busy Christmas period in our MOOMIN Covent Garden shop. This role is ideal for students or individuals looking to gain retail experience during the festive season, working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent customer service.

The position will run from now until the end of the year. You'll start with 1–2 shifts per week, with hours increasing as we get closer to Christmas.

Monday to Thursday availability is essential, as most shifts will fall on those days.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to provide accurate information.

Assist with restocking shelves and organising merchandise to ensure the store looks its best.

Operate the till and handle transactions efficiently in line with company policies.

Support the team in keeping the sales floor and stockroom clean and organised.

Participate in inventory management tasks, including stock counts and product placement.

Requirements:

Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not essential.

Friendly, approachable, and confident in engaging with customers.

Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Flexibility to work increased shifts in the lead-up to Christmas.

Weekend availability is required.
