MARI is seeking a Communications Manager to support the delivery of integrated communications across its portfolio of major live events. Working across both consumer and internal communications, this role will help shape and implement campaigns that strengthen MARI's profile, engage audiences, and connect teams globally.
The successful candidate will combine excellent organisational and writing skills with sound judgment, creativity, and an ability to manage multiple projects at once. They will be confident working across diverse stakeholders — including internal teams, agencies, media, and partners — ensuring consistent, timely, and high-quality communications. The role requires attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively during live event periods, including across time zones and outside standard office hours when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of communications strategies for key events and initiatives across MARI's portfolio
- Partner closely with marketing teams to align messaging and coordinate campaign activity across paid, owned, and earned channels
- Manage day-to-day relationships with PR and marketing agencies, ensuring deliverables, budgets, and timelines are met
- Draft, edit, and distribute press materials, briefing notes, and internal announcements
- Coordinate media engagement, including management of enquiries, interview scheduling, and press attendance at events
- Create and manage internal communications content such as newsletters, leadership messages, and team updates
- Oversee tracking of media coverage and preparation of PR and internal comms reports for leadership
- Contribute to campaign planning and creative ideation sessions with internal teams and external partners
- Manage communications timelines, calendars, and workflows to ensure smooth execution across projects
- Maintain accurate media and stakeholder lists, ensuring consistent, professional outreach
- Support the organisation of press events, launches, and internal meetings, including logistics and materials preparation
- Monitor relevant media and industry developments, providing regular updates and insight to the wider team
- Ensure all communications align with MARI's brand tone, visual identity, and strategic priorities
Key Qualifications
- Around 4–6 years' experience in communications, ideally spanning both external and internal audiences
- Experience working alongside marketing teams and managing agencies across multiple markets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and content for different channels
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
- Confident collaborator who can build effective relationships across teams and geographies
- Skilled at developing and refining communications materials with accuracy and attention to detail
- Creative thinker with an interest in live events, media, and culture
- Calm, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or early mornings during major event periods
