Exeter

Competitive Salary and Package

On behalf of a well-respected contactor, RGB Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager for a new and unique project in Exeter.

The Role

You'll lead multi-disciplinary teams on this complex project, making sure work is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the expected quality standards.

The position involves:

  • Driving a strong safety culture from the outset
  • Setting up projects, processes and site systems
  • Coordinating pre-construction planning and ensuring design information arrives when needed
  • Monitoring progress and resolving issues before they affect delivery
  • Building positive relationships with clients, consultants, supply chain and your internal teams
  • Managing finances, valuations and cash flow
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and compliance
  • Supporting, developing and managing staff performance

About You

  • We're looking for someone ambitious, confident in leading site teams, and comfortable taking ownership of large projects.
  • You might already be running schemes independently, or you may be a solid PM ready to step up.
  • A construction qualification and valid site cards are expected, but attitude, leadership and your ability to motivate teams are just as important.

Why This Role?

  • You'll be joining a well-established main contractor with a strong forward order book and a clear growth strategy, offering long-term stability and the chance to progress your career.
  • The company invests heavily in training, professional development and employee wellbeing—alongside flexible working options where appropriate.

Benefits Include

  • Competitive salary and holiday allowance (with the option to buy more)
  • Pension scheme
  • Private medical options
  • Professional membership paid annually
  • Sharesave schemes
  • Employee assistance and wellbeing support
  • Retail and lifestyle discounts
  • Cycle to Work scheme

If you're a driven PM or SPM looking for your next step in the Southwest, I'd love to speak with you.
