South West Water is preparing for AMP8 and seeking talented professionals to help deliver vital infrastructure and environmental projects across the region. Expressions of interest are now open until the 31st October 2025.

We are committed to delivering what matters most to customers and communities across the South West. Our record level of investment will see further improvement across the main customer priorities.

We've already started work on projects that will dramatically reduce the use of storm overflows, helping to improve bathing water quality. We're also finding ways to strengthen water resilience, ensuring a reliable supply of high-quality drinking water in years to come, even with the challenges of population growth and climate change. Engineering Project Manager:

  • Lead the delivery of complex engineering projects from inception to completion
  • Manage project teams, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors and regulatory bodies
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Drive innovation and best practice in project delivery

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing engineering projects, ideally within the water or utilities sector
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent professional qualification
