Role Overview:

We are looking for a reliable, professional, and customer-focused Pharmacy Dispenser to join our friendly team. You will be responsible for supporting the safe and effective dispensing of medicines and delivering outstanding service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense NHS and private prescriptions accurately and efficiently
  • Deliver excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Assist with over-the-counter sales and provide appropriate advice
  • Label and package medications correctly
  • Maintain pharmacy stock levels and manage stock rotation
  • Follow all SOPs and company procedures
  • Assist the pharmacist in the day-to-day running of the pharmacy
  • Keep the dispensary and front-of-house areas clean and organised
  • Respond to patient queries in person and over the phone

Hours

  • Monday: 8:30am - 5:30pm
  • Tuesday: 9:30am - 6:30pm
  • Wednesday: 9:30am - 6:30pm
  • Thursday: 9:30am - 6:30pm
  • Friday: 9:30am - 6:30pm

Minimum Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent) – this is the minimum requirement
  • NVQ Level 3 qualified applicants are also welcome to apply
  • Experience working in a community pharmacy (preferred)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
  • A friendly, approachable, and professional attitude
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
