Job summary

We are looking for a receptionist or dispensing receptionist to work at Park Street Surgery in the centre of Ripon. We are an inclusive, forward-thinking practice with ambitions to grow: employing an experienced, stable team of doctors, nurses and healthcare support staff. Our team are welcoming, friendly and supportive. We are rated 'Good' by the CQC.

Salary is £ £13.20ph depending on role and experience.

The role responsibilities require an enthusiastic, confident, friendly and level headed person who is comfortable working to multiple demands and priorities. The post holder will interact with patients, clinicians, the Practice Manager and staff on a daily basis and be willing to support the whole team.

Job responsibilities

• Reception duties to include answering the telephone, booking appointments and dealing with patient enquiries.
• Dispensing GPand outpatient prescriptions – if qualified.
• Preparingof pharmacy itemsfor dispensing.
• Any other appropriate duties as required by the Reception Manager.
