We are looking for a 
Marketing Manager
 to join the Charles Burnand Gallery at an exciting moment of expansion. With our established London gallery and a new destination in the Cotswolds, this role will shape how we are seen, heard and experienced.

You will lead the gallery's marketing and communications strategy developing campaigns that reflect our ambition, craftsmanship and international reach. Your work will span digital content, social media, press and events, exhibitions and design fairs.

Success in this role means creating a coherent voice across all platforms, locations and channels, elevating our profile among collectors, designers and media and driving engagement with our global audience. You'll collaborate with every team in the gallery to produce compelling storytelling, memorable activations and measurable growth in the gallery's visibility.

Your key duties will include

Marketing Strategy & Brand Management:

  • Develop and execute a clear marketing strategy aligned with the gallery's growth objectives.
  • Evolve and execute the gallery's brand identity across all channels, ensuring consistency of tone, style, and presentation.
  • Create compelling campaigns that engage collectors, designers and press that align with the gallery's creative vision.

Exhibitions & Events:

  • Lead marketing efforts for exhibitions, client events and art fairs, including planning, invitations, and digital promotion.
  • Manage photography, videography, and documentation for press and internal use.
  • Ensure all materials and communications meet the gallery's design and presentation standards.

Digital & Content Management:

  • Create and maintain the website, newsletters and all social media platforms, ensuring content reflects the gallery's aesthetic and curatorial standards.
  • Plan and deliver content calendars to support exhibitions, fairs, and collaborations.
  • Analyse campaign performance and audience engagement to inform ongoing improvements.

Press & Communications:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with design, art, and lifestyle editors and journalists and external PR agencies.
  • Write press releases, manage press packs and imagery, and coordinate media coverage for exhibitions and launches.

Skills and experience required

  • Proven experience in marketing within a design/art gallery, luxury brand, or design-led company.
  • In depth experience in marketing within a gallery, design studio, or luxury brand environment.
  • Strong visual sensibility and understanding of design, materials, and contemporary design.
  • Excellent written communication skills and editorial judgement.
  • Experience managing digital content and social media platforms.
  • Strategic mindset with ability to plan and deliver multi-channel campaigns.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and confident working across teams.

This is a full-time position (Monday-Friday, occasional weekends)

Salary range: £50,000-£55,000 depending on experience
