Role description

Full-time role (37.5 hours) -
based at Salford Quays, Manchester, with hybrid working available.

The QA and Compliance Manager is a key role responsible for ensuring operational compliance, embedding a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the UK business.

You will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of operational policies, processes, and quality assurance frameworks, ensuring they are up to date, relevant, and fully embedded across the organisation. You will manage the governance of document control systems, compliance frameworks, and training programmes to ensure consistent standards and adherence across all sites.

This role also acts as the primary liaison with Group Risk & Compliance, ensuring alignment with organisational frameworks and timely escalation of risks and non-conformities.

The QA and Compliance Manager plays a key role in ensuring operational compliance, consistency, and continuous improvement across the UK business. Reporting to the Head of Service & Sales, you will be responsible for embedding a culture of quality, accountability, and operational excellence across all areas of the organisation.

You will lead the review and development of operational policies and processes, ensuring they are clear, current, efficient, and aligned with both business needs and compliance standards. You will oversee document governance, data integrity, and the management of training frameworks to ensure processes are not only compliant but understood and embedded across the organisation.

This role is also responsible for driving continuous improvement through the application of the Plan, Do, Check, Act framework and ensuring the Quality Management Framework is consistently applied and maintained.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience in a compliance, quality assurance, or risk management role, ideally within a residential, hospitality, or service-led environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in writing, reviewing, and embedding policies and processes that are clear, practical, and measurable.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, audit processes, and governance principles.
  • Experience developing and maintaining training systems and compliance matrices.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and drive improvements.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and compliance/document management systems.
