The Role
Stock N Lock Self Storage Ltd is looking for a smart, hard-working, self-starting, motivated and outgoing leader who desires to be part of a fast-growing, professional, award-winning team.

Our stores are staffed 7 days a week, including Saturdays (09:00 – 17:00) and Sundays (11:00 – 17:00) and you will need to be willing to work weekends on a shift pattern, within your team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Your main duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited, to the following:
- Client Services: Meet and greet both existing and new clients (in person and over the phone), put them at ease and understand their needs and wants. Establish a good working relationship with them and address their requirements. All client's enquiries, emails and phone calls will be responded to in a timely manner. All communications will be carried out swiftly and professionally, and you will take accountability and ownership of maintaining client accounts properly and in good order.
- Sales: Once you have proven your client handling skills, you will lead your team in maximising occupancy and economic efficiency of the store, meeting sales targets, driving ancillary sales and merchandising, contacting local businesses and domestic customers, ensuring all enquiries and contacts are properly recorded and helping to achieve a high enquiry conversion ratio. You will have ownership of your clients and will serve clients from initial contact/enquiry right through to move in, with full responsibility for maintaining good client service and relationships once on board. Your sales strategy will be entirely driven by good customer service first and foremost, which will be evidenced by the success of your sales.
- People: Leading and motivating the store team through coaching and providing constructive feedback to enhance performance. Be a Champion for change and positively influence the team to adapt and stay ahead of industry trends. Embody the company values, do what you say you will do and lead from the front.
- Business Strategy: Understanding the key performance indicators that drive our business performance you will support senior management in defining and achieving short- and long-term business goals. Demonstrate the ability to problem-solve while taking accountability and responsibility for performance results.
- Performance Management: You will lead by example while challenging and motivating your team to beat sales targets and deliver exceptional results. You will have a passion for coaching and developing team members to enhance existing and learn new skills. Success will be celebrated, and where required, underperformance will be addressed through the creation of tailored performance improvement plans utilising SMART goals. You will take ownership and accountability for your store and team performance.
- Store Maintenance: Delegating and conducting shared daily routines and checking to ensure the store is clean and secure with all facilities fully operational. Leading and inspiring your team to ensure that
store presentation always exceeds customer expectations through effective planning and time management. Noting any damage and taking immediate and appropriate action to rectify. This does mean rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty. General Administration: You will ensure compliance to company policies with close attention to detail in general administration duties including emailing, client correspondence, office administration, debt recovery, risk management, filing client records, accepting and dealing
with deliveries, stock taking, and store audits.
- Other Duties: As may be required on a day-to-day basis. These include actioning and delegating daily procedures, completing daily checklist, observing security measures as well ensuring your store adheres to health & safety and fire regulations, and any other tasks and duties that senior management may reasonably require you to undertake.

- Minimum requirement of 2 years previous management experience is essential
Previous experience in management, consultative sales and /or customer service is essential. Previous self-storage experience is particularly welcome.TrainingWe will support your training requirements and provide assistance wherever possible in helping you to determine the direction in which you wish to take your career.
